How it works!
Let us at Rent-A-Hatchery help you by giving the kids some unique hands on egg-ucational experience! Let's hatch some chicks! Whether at home, in a classroom, or daycare we can accommodate all sizes and spaces! The great news is you receive EVERYTHING and we can take EVERYTHING back!
Pick a day and time
1. Select a day either Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. Teachers are recommended to book on Wednesdays for more time with the chicks.
2. Select a time after 5:00 p.m.
3. Submit a booking request.
4. We will be in contact with you ASAP to confirm your booking. Once confirmed the $50 booking fee will be invoiced.

*Though, we do prefer Monday-Wednesday after 5:00 p.m. for pick up, we understand everyone has different availability and we want to make sure you get your Hatchery. Just shoot us an email using the Questions button at the bottom of the page or using the contact tab above and we will be happy to discuss the details.
Confirmation
Once we confirm your booking and location of pick up, we will meet in person with all of the materials you need to hatch a chick.
This includes: Hatchery, heat-lamp, food for the entire duration you will have the chicks, hatching eggs of your choice and a Handi-Dandee Chick Guide.

We will explain everything you need to know from care, to the day they hatch, and if you have any questions in-between there, refer to the binder included, or just send us a message.

Ducklings have finally arrived!
Return
For chicks you will have the hatchery for three weeks plus about a week or so after the hatchlings appear so you can enjoy the chicks. Ducks will be a four week period plus additional week.

We will meet up again in person to return all your items included with your hatchery, and yes that includes the Chicks! Unless you would like to keep the Chicks as an addition to your family. You are more than welcome to at no extra charge.

Don't forget to take pictures and create some memories! You are more than welcome to share with us too, we'd love to see!
Chicks:
Price: $150 total
Teachers: $135 per class
Multiple teachers booking same day: $125 per class
Ducks (9 eggs):
Price: $200
Teachers: $175
Multiple teachers booking same day: $165 per class
When you book your appointment, there is a non-refundable $50 booking fee. If you need to change the date from the original booking, just let us know and we can work with you on another date and time that works best.
When we meet to give you the hatchery, the remaining balance is due.
